OUR CONSTITUTION OUR PURPOSE OUR CAUSE

Our purpose extends beyond our constitutional responsibility to “support communities involved in Cricket and other sports played at The Gabba for the betterment of the community and the game itself”.

home-cause-img

We offer a number of charities the opportunity to raise much needed funds for their cause. This is achieved through many initiatives including a generous "charity catering package", offered to local charities hosting fundraisers at the Qld Cricketers’ Club.

The Club offers a package to the client at cost, allowing them to increase their ticket price and keep the margin. One of our key partnerships is the Children's Hospital Foundation, where we have entertained many children and their parents at the Club during match days, at a cost to the Club yet paid through our purpose, "Beyond the Boundary".

Through our range off venues and resources

We help raise funds to assist many associations including schools, grass-root sporting facilities and charities. Our aim is to use our expertise in hospitality and function & event management to contribute in payment and in kind. In turn, we aim to assist in the mending, forging and development of new friendships, building a stronger sense of community.

CONNECTING A TEAM OF LEGENDS FOR THE CAUSE

Embarking on a mission to unite communities

Sport is ingrained into the Australian culture. It brings communities together, it enables connections, it is the context for great experiences, it is a universal language. Through our connections with world class athletes, local and state government, large corporations, press and media, we raise funds together. Connectivity with those we support is ongoing through annual fundraisers, “in kind” donations and through various promotional activities.

As new funds are raised, more communities, more charities, more people in need, will benefit.
